Clusters of Light Now Shines in Cairo

Following its triumph in Sharjah, the Clusters Of Light oratorio has been staged in Cairo to glowing reviews and wide acclaim. Egypt’s President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi was in the audience.
The greatest story ever told has now been told again in Egypt. Following its triumphant debut in Sharjah last year, the Clusters of Light oratorio has taken to the road and been staged in Cairo for five nights in October.

The show attracted glowing reviews and wide acclaim from an audience that numbered more than 40,000 in total. It was relayed as a live broadcast that could be seen by more than 20 million viewers, and honoured with a personal attendance by Egypt’s President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi.
This spectacular, immersive multimedia production by Multiple International in collaboration with Sharjah Media Centre depicts the birth of Islam and life of the Prophet Muhammud. The highly ambitious enterprise involved more than 200 production staff and performers, some of the most sophisticated special effects ever devised by a global elite of specialists, and appearances from four of the best known stars of Arabic music.

It was originally commissioned by the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, who brought the production to Cairo as a personal gift to the people of Egypt. “Whatever we do for Egypt is nothing but a drop in the ocean of Egyptian generosity,” he commented.
