the script

Pimpama Junction Shopping Village opened recently on Australia’s Gold Coast, with a cultural centerpiece in the form of a dramatic sculpture welcoming visitors to its main entrance.

Commissioned by the developer through Multiple International partner Artmap Studio, the stainless steel sculpture The Script by artist Robert Hague stands five meters high and is loosely based on the idea of a script caught by the breeze, its individual sheets fanning out as it flies.
The sculpture works as a foil to the shopping village, drawing the eye up toward the sky and emphasizing the open theme of the center's architecture.
